It was an alright sequel but nothing special. The scene with the tequilla worm was priceless. Overall pretty enetertaining.

The sequel to the great original, Poltergeist. The Other Side continues the story of the original family, and the little girl. But they can't escape the haunting of the spirits. The plot is pretty damn simple, yet well scripted. But, compared to the first movie, this is a complete dissapointment. The nice touch of the priest is a good one, he is one freaky guy, and I think he is what kept this movie alive. I also thought the CGI wasn't as good this time, and I found the movie a bit boring, and the ending sucked. I'm not going to go into much detail, because compared to the first movie, this is a really bid downer.

5/10

Has it's moments. The priest was a nice touch, but as far as creepy imagery goes, I found this movie to be lacking a bit. The braces sequence is the best in my opinion. And of course, there's an old indian guy who blah blah blah. Don't get me wrong, still dig this movie. Just doesn't have anything on the first one.

JULIAN BECK gives one of the most eerie and creepy performances on screen of any I have ever seen, right up there with Heath Ledger's Joker as far as just being uncanny in perfection of presenting a disturbed eerie individual.
unfortunatly for the film it's the only good solid thing going for it, because it's pretty much rehashing the original in a different way, perhaps a more meatier script would have done this possibly good sequel justice.
