I enjoyed this movie a lot. It really appealed to me and if you find you have similar taste in horror as myself (Check out my reviews for that) then you'll like this most likely.
I thought this had all the potential in the world to be a very creepy supernatural/thriller but ended up being more of an psychological/drama and a slow moving one at that. The movie was nicely filmed and created a good enough atmosphere throughout and had great set pieces but all that is wasted here. The movie kept me interested and was mysterious and different but it didn't answer alot of questions towards the end and I just waited for something great to happen but nothing did, it was a let down. The acting was ok but not very strong, no one stands out here. Overall don't wast your time on this one it's not worth it. Not recommended.
There's nothing new here and what is here is overly mediocre. the film doesn't really make an impact on any level and it isn't particularly frightening or disturbing. sad because the concept is kinda cool and they had a decent cast. But just another fialed experiment.
I thouht it wasn;t really a horror movie at all infact to me I thought it was a mystery played out like a horror movie but it wasn;t....I think the plot was weak and it might been stronger if there was a better story line. just a 2 for me
Movies like this just piss me off. In this day and age, the technology for producing digital media, video and audio, is much more accessible to the average person. There were perhaps 100 horror directors in any chosen year of the 1970's, whereas today, there must be at least a thousand. Problem here, aside from the chance at diversity and the joy of discovering a Spielberg next door that would have otherwise gone unnoticed, the mass of these projects are lifeless and mediocre to the point of flatness and over-similarity. Aside from the eye candy that is Mischa Barton, Walled In implodes into, and might as well otherwise be, nothing. Give it one and a half laser divided skulls even to the micrometer.
Well when I downloaded this movie I thought it was a horror movie but I was so very wrong. It's nothing more then a grade B thriller with a crap plot and crap directing. The acting was average and Mischa Barton was inproperly cast in the lead role. A hard movie to get through due to it's lack of all things entertaining. The best part of the film was the building it was filmed in. This movie had a lot of potential but never bothered to see it though. I give walled in 3 out of 10.
