I fell asleep. Boooooooooor-ing! I am all for atmosphere and I really don't mind the shakey cam thing... but come on! I can only watch people run from naked blue/white people for so long.
Very disappointed with this film. Up close and personal is one thing, but come on! For most of the film, we see the characters reacting, but aren't sure what they are reacting too or what's going on around them. The camera is always right in the actor's faces, effectively removing the viewer from what's going on around them. We are supposed to be thrilled by the actor's panicked and horrified responses. Add to this, it's dark the entire film and the camera is constantly moving. And to make matters worse, the editor decides to enhance the shaky camera style, thus adding to my nausea and boredom by adding jump cuts, blurred shots, and other weird effects. If there was any suspense, I was too bored a third of the way in and didn't care. No pay off either! Ultimately, it’s another example of too much style and very little to show for it - at least what little I could see.

This was a *great* film! If you're a fan of non-stop creep fests that are heavy on the atmosphere, you'll totally enjoy it. It is such a drag when modern crap fests like The Hills Run Red get a free pass for gore fx, and a truly well crafted spooky thriller like this get overlooked. I like it so much that I've already watched it twice in one week, and I'm sure I'll be watching it again sometime soon. It's not often that I say that about any movie, but this movie is a breath of fresh air for anyone looking for old skool fright flicks which skirt modern mainstream conventions. Watch it!
I thought this was really a unique film. It was really good but it was kinda hard to see what was going on the whole time. I will say it was pretty creepy. Amy Smart you are very sexy but man you cant act worth shit.
Amy Smart,and being a fan of horror movie's is the reason i bought this blu ray today.The movie does have a scary feel to it..it does.Amy Smart carries the movie,her boyfriend kinda brings the film down,he's such a wuss!The creatures are well done,and scary at times,It was a little shakey cam to often but it never really botherd me,this movie is really action packed,from begining to end.It was a weird movie,and i was a little shocked Amy Smart was in it,but i would watch it again.Not the greatest movie but not the worst,If you like Amy Smart give it a whirl.
