Pardon my french but what the fuc!k was this! I mean most of it wasn't explained other than that they were using humans for energy or something and most of it was hard to see what was going on and that got old really fast! There was hardly any dialogue in it so I can't really judge the acting but what was displayed was pretty good and you can read their emotions well. I thought the filming was too artsy fartsy but sometimes especially the ending it was visually stunning. This was just one complicated mess and it made me fall asleep because there wasn't much going on the whole time other than the main guy going on a boring wild goose chase to figure out how to get out of the underground place and to know what the hell is going on and when he does it still doesn't make much sense. Overall do not waste your precious time on this sci-fi/thriller it's not worth it believe me! AVOID!!!
Not sure if this is a sci-fi film posing as an art flick or visa versa, but personally I was pretty bored throughout the entire run time. Stunning visuals, but a bit pretentious for my taste.
A little disappointed with this one. was very intrigued when I first read about it. will say that is was a little fucked up, but it just moved to slow for my taste and when it finally picked up and started going somewhere it was over. Time killer but not a must see. also, stick to the dvd if you purchase, bought it on blu-ray seen it on both dvd and blu-ray and there's not really a difference that's worth the extra ten bucks.
Just received this from netflix.I agree it was a slow burn but worth the watch.The film had a very cold feel to it and haunting.It was like watching a third person horror video game like Dead Space.The creatures were cool wished we saw more of them and the ending was strange.Overall worth a watch considering its originality.
