Ah, nothing like the classic roots of horror. I tend to watch : Frankenstein, The Wolfman, Dracula, The Mummy, & Freaks, all on the same night. Fucking great flicks that have stood the test of time. What a creepy atmosphere those films have. When I think of Frankenstein, the first image that comes to mind is the scene of the old windmill with the torch carrying townsfolk coming up the hill. Colin Clive was brilliant as was Karloff. Great flick for the ages!!!

IT really doesn't matter what you say think or know about this movie, it is a classic, it deserves a 10/10. Even if in my opinion it truly deserves the 9 or 8 since it is such an old classic that is still watched to this day that I really did enjoy it deserves a 10/10. If it wasn't for this movie and others like it there wouldn't be some of the movies now adays this movie deserves our respect and loyalty, no one can talk bad about this movie unless they do not love the horror genre, no one can give this a low score or else they are a bunch of retarded f***s or are just not well educated in the ways of horror, gore doesn't make a good movie (SAW!!!!!!!! im lookin at you), and this movie was just perfect, especially for its time. Give this movie respect and don't say bad sh** about it, unless you truly don't understand or respect horror at all. 10/10!

this was probably the first horror movie that i ever saw. this is the movie that got me into horror movies. boris karloff, to me, is the one of the best horror icons of all time. i was raised on the original universal monster movies, and i loved them then, and i love them now. this is the best version of the mary shelly novel. great acting and atmosphere.
