A great movie for any teenager. My sister adored this movie, and she isn't even a fan of horror. I liked it, but it's not my number one choice.

not terrible by any stretch of the imagination and ive seen far far worse from after dark horror fest but this isnt fantastic and aint gonna blow your hair back. worth watching if can find cheap. What i will say is though 2 things, one thomas dekker cant act and is so unspeakably bad in this movie and two the story is a little hard to follow at times so you end up scratching your head and going "what ?!"

I have seen 8 out of the After Dark Horrorfest films, and this is my FAVORITE!
This movie had me guessing what will happen next. The only reason I think this film was a low score is because Christians wont like it.
This is a story about crazy Christians and how even in their small town, that they try to keep religious, their "sins" are the ones the will destroy them.
Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house!

The acting is pretty decent and the storyline is free of plot holes. The twist in the end is fun to enjoy, I just wish that the ending's montage could be extended to include other characters.

If you are offended by films that are pro religious choice, then don't watch this. This is a tale where it's easy to see that the God fearing people are those to fear.

One of the better horrorfest movies. I cant stand all those ring around the dark water grudge shit fuck look at the ghost movies! This was not bad. Kind of creepy and enjoyed the story.

Though some parts are scary and original, it has horrible acting and an ending; and it doesn't have enough chills and scares to make it interesting.

Such a good little horror film. It had a story to tell and it did a wonderful job doing so.

Believe me my rating is just as surprising and shocking to me as it is to you. I had heard good things about this horrorfest entry but I chose to disregard them. And after the miserable Perkins 14 expectations weren't high. So I watched it. And here's what I have to say. It blew me the f%$k away. It's a brilliant f&*%$#g film period. Yeah it's not perfect but what this mega talented director has done is taken a slightly hokey concept and played it dead straight. With a indie film edge. And the results which could've been dreadfully boring are freaky and emotionally involving. The story surrounds a bible belt town which starts to have an increasingly disturbing rash of suicides. At first the film plays it randomly with shocking moments before committing to a few plot developments that are really astounding. As a writer this is the genre film I would have love to made. If there was one flaw it would be the unevenness of some of the performances but even so those actors have great effective moments. The direction is really unique, the cinematography is polished and exceptionally well done. the score is inventive and scary and the scare scenes are innovative and nightmarish. I can't praise this film enough for having the courage to break the mold of horror films and go for the gut emotions of the scenario it's portraying and to top it all off it's wonderfully stylish. needless to say that this a horror film actually worth owning. And one that deserved much more attention and a solo release so everyone could see what genre films are truly capable of. The underlinings of social commentary, religious symbolism and the cinematic statements on suicide, good/evil, and our scary belief system amongst others makes for a truly unique and genuinely horrifying experience.

iiiiiiieeeeee. Well i liked the acting and there are a few freaky parts in the movie. But all in all the movie is not very good. Its not very scary. Save yourself time/money and just like drugs....just say no.

One of the better After Dark offerings, From Within distinguishes itself with some interesting themes, striking lensing and unusually charismatic young leads backed by a supporting cast of solid older faces. Dekker and Rice in particular deserve credit for their performances, especially when contending with some of the dafter moments when the plot loses its way horribly in the last third. Despite some occasionally ham fisted dialogue and ridiculous revelations in said last third that turn an intriguing and thought provoking story into something disappointingly juvenile, Papamichael's debut feature still has far more going for it than most of the genre fare we're currently being subjected to. It won't be for everyone, but at the very least deserves points for intent. Give it a shot, you might be suprised.

This movie is a very fun movie. Sure some acting falters at times and sme plot holes are found but this film was better than people say. Certainly not amazing or close to it. No. It offers a group of people you like and some you don't. I would defintialy recommend this one. At least watch it.

A boring and silly plot that offers nothing that interesting or entertaining, rides on the fact that
the victims' demise are self inflicted suicides, nothing about this film was really interesting or
entertaining, I kept glancing at the length to see how much longer was left in the film, overall the films
story just wasnt that great to begin with.
