The first one was way better, but it was still a boatload of fun. Those two doctors are hilarious together. Bride of Re-Animator is much funnier with Dr. West's random experiments. The dog scene was GOLD!!

Plus, this time the two of them were more organized, which resulted in less mayhem and less gore. Still, this sequel is pretty good.

Dr. Herbert West is the best mad scientist character of all time. With the possible exception of Frankenstein.

More of the same, but not in a bad way. All the main characters return for more gory goofiness & an ending that actually manages to top the original it outrageousness.

Not as amazing as the original but still a delightful film nonetheless. The effects rock and little things like an eyeball attached to a bunch of fingers walking around, or a dog with a human hand showcase a sort of lost artform that you don't see in horror movies these days.

Great fun, great sequel and check out Bruce Abbot's flowing mane. Jesus Christ.

up there with the first this one is a great sequel for once!

This is actually probably my favorite of the series. The sequel maintains the atmosphere of the original film, something that was mostly lost when making the third film. I'm surprised fewer agree with me.

The trilogy as a whole is superb.

Good sequel. Not as good as first though. One of my favorites. This series is so unlike any other movies. Unlike now days, nobody's original!

You people suck! I can't believe you're bashing this film! Seriously, The Re-Animator Trilogy *AS A WHOLE* is GREAT IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY. The bad acting is what makes these films...

No where as good at the original, the film really shows the difference between a director who understands how to tell a story and one who only knows how to advance the plot with gore. Jeffery Combs is probably the one good point of the movie because it's fun seeing him play West. Otherwise, the film is cheesy in a bad way and presents interesting ideas that are wasted on a poorly constructed story.

Very shitty movie I think.

Nowhere near as fun, gory or campy as the original. Jeffrey Combs is good but the rest of the acting is pretty flat. The film seems to stumble along until the quite entertaining climax. Definately worth a watch for fans of the first film.
