Except for the horrible horrible ending, Pathology was below average. The final sequence was the most obvious ending the average mind can think of, and I can't believe that the makers stuck with it. No wonder this was a flop.

Michael weston was brilliant, the story line was ok but slightly boring as each kill happend to quick for my liking,i just felt like there was too much crammed into little time, i'd advise to watch it but i won't be watching a 2nd time.
An pretty harsh, twisted, out of line and graphic medical/thriller that's not for the squeamish. The acting was ok but none of the characters were likable and were underdeveloped that there was no one to root for or care about. I did think the directing was slick and the violence looked so realistic that I had to turn my head a couple of times, so it was good in that department. Overall it's a pretty dark, cold and serious thriller that was pretty clever, nothing more nothing less.
Orginal and interesting... This movie has what you need to be a sick movie... Well casted, this movie for what the budget must be is very good and definitely worth watching.... Blood, sex, death, and brains all in one movie
i felt the basic premis was great, the film is nothing that will change your life, its simply put just okay, Milos performance is very good and he is very convincing Alyssa Milano just didnt fit in the movie for me and kind of felt like she wasnt even sure why she was there, loved the gore scenes that where very convincing and loved the lack of CGI and a lot of it filmed in camera,.....so to sum up not bad flick just dont expect for the world
I don't know why but I loved this fucking movie it was great sex gore and corpses although I'll admit this movie is not for everyone some will hate it others wont still worth a one time watch at least

Boring....Decent gore.....Original but everything was totally screwed up.. Found myself yawning during half of it. Jut not my kinda flick. If you love gore its for you. If you like story then no.. Skip it.
This was a not bad movie...when I saw the Dvd cover for it...I was thinking hmmm it might suck but then I watch it so I was a little surprised of it its worth a watch.
This movie was enjoyable. The characters were great and were well developed. The acting was extremely good and some of the best I have seen in a long time. The dialogue was well written and very smart. The storyline was very original and creative and the ending was awesome and caught me off guard. The autopsy scenes looked realistic, but you never saw the full detail of them. None of the autopsy scenes came close to being as gory as the one in saw 4. The only problems I had with this movie was that there was not enough gore and I thought that the R 18+ rating was very misleading. It was kind of stupid that the group of friends made their secret lair where they played the game connected to the hospital. It is not very secret at all. The other thing that bothered me was lacking use of some of the characters, the main characters were brilliant and very interesting but for the other few in the group, they say like 2 lines and that is it. Then they die. Overall this movie was entertaining enough to watch from start to finish and I would recommend it if your looking for something a little different than your average gory horror movie. I give pathology 7.5/10

THe idea of it was good but this movie was practically a porno...
Picture a shitty screenplay that mimics The Lost Boys, add 90% completely childish dialogue and some enormous gaping plot holes, and that's the movie you've got here. Beyond that, not one person in this movie is at all likable. Everyone is a vile piece of shit and you don't end up caring what happens to any of them (with the exception of maybe Alyssa Milano's character). The acting is also pretty bad in some cases.
Not to say I wasn't entertained all the way through, but there is too much bullshit to get past to be able to call this a good movie.
Not recommended to anyone looking for a seriously worthwhile movie, but if you want something brainless, and pretty violent, it's a fun one to pick apart.
It’s hard for me to believe that this was made by the same people as Crank, because Pathology and Crank are almost equal opposites in every sense of the phrase. In a way, I’d like to sat Pathology is the perfect evolution of work from the Crank creators, but, I’m not so sure. For anyone who hasn’t caught on, Pathology is a VERY slow moving film—the antithesis of Crank—that will most likely lose your attention more than once because it tries to develop the characters in very typical ways. But on the other hand, the story itself is borderline genius, and most of all ORGINAL, which is also the antithesis of Crank.
The story is about pathologists playing God. It’s simple, yet very thought out and something that has never been done before. I for one never thought of pathologists having the power they do, and the new view on things was very cool. I’m not sure I’d call this movie “dark” or “twisted”, but it certainly is filmed beautifully (the autopsy near the end is downright gorgeous) and stylishly (that does not just amount to ripping-off Saw’s camera style). There are no plot twists, necessarily, but the plot is never once predictable or clichéd.
I’m someone who usually doesn’t notice acting at all, but the casting for this movie was flawless. The acting itself was very well-done. The fact I’m even mentioning that is surprising to me, because, as I said, acting never really makes much of an impact on me unless it’s stunning or putrid.
As far as the gore everyone is talking about: sadly, for a desensitized horror fan like me, it’s just average if not a little below average. The autopsy scenes never once reach the graphicness of the opening autopsy in Saw IV, and other than the autopsies, there isn’t really any gore to speak of. I think the internet advertisements had more gore than the actual movie.
My one and only complaint with Pathology is the pacing. The movie is 93 minutes, but it still feels a whole lot longer than that. This is by no means the watching-a-dead-duck-move-it’s-foot pace of some movies, but a few minutes of tightening up would have made this movie twice as good. Do not be fooled into thinking this is a Saw lookalike, because it isn’t at all. Pathology has little to no intensity—unlike all the Saw films—and there really isn’t any impending-doom feel whatsoever. It almost, in a way, reminded me of Spider-Man, as far as the pacing and characterization scenes go. It’s slow, but it’s fun as it’s somewhat fun (and/or beautiful) as it’s slow. It’s hard to explain. Just don’t go in expecting the breakneck Saw speed and you should be okay with the pacing.
Overall, this is the kind of movie that should win an Oscar but never will, and will never even be looked at in that way. It blows every movie that won an Oscar last year out of the water in every single way. The cinematography, the acting, the plot—all flawless. And it managed to pack in a philosophical reasoning that was neither preachy nor too shallow. The “true nature of man is to kill” pessimistic view of humanity is a very tired, boring subject that gets used in so many movies it makes me want to shoot my ears out every time I hear it, yet Pathology pulled it off. It pulled it off because it wasn’t just preaching, it was SHOWING it, and showing it in a believable way.
In the end: an original horror/thriller that is so much better than the crap out there.
dudes I liked it, it caught me off guard with its gore.... so that was nice. plot was interesting. felt really involved a lot of the time. Overall great movie.

Ends up being a very clever and interesting film where it plays heavily on intellegence and has a satisfying ending that i was hoping for, although they are very very different in ways, I did like this movie better than "Saw" because I felt that what happens in Pathology is way more believable to actually possibly happen in real life and that makes it more scarier, i think. knowing that these people are out there, capable of doing what is done in this film.
excellent

A very raw movie. Although very intertaining, it lost my attention sometimes. But, hey! This movie was killer!

I should have known better than to trust the creators of Crank to make a film that didnt feel like a complete waste of time.
While the gore was okay, the plot was so simple (though i will give it credit for originality).
"Kill someone and dont get caught" is the idea, though isnt it odd that their "lair" is connected to a door that is attached to a main area in this busy hospital? Or how about that they decide it is a good idea to do crank, then dissect people in a heavily populated building??
I loved the idea of Pathology, but somehow the makers of Crank screwed it up.

Loved it. It's really sick and twisted. But most of all -- it's original. Wish I'd seen it in theatres. Great performance by Michael Weston. Highly recommended for anyone looking for soemthing out of the ordinary.
