New twist! Everyone in the movie is dead so killing anybody doesn't even fucking matter! Wow, that makes absolute sense and is in no way the worst idea in the history of film making. Oh wait, yes it is.

Load of rubbish. The film starts off good, and is enjoyable, right untill about mid-way through, when things become laughable. One of the characters even has sex with a ghost. The movie was just plain stupid and had PLOT HOLES written all over it. It was predictable and one thing died throughout the whole movie.
The plot started off good and then turned to shit. The amount of plot-holes and unrelated dialogue was so stupid and it just made the filming pointless.
The acting was surprisingly good, with a believable cast, take 1. One of the key elemts to the film is the acting.
Overall this sequel, is only to be viewed if you've seen the first, and even if you have seen the first, i wouldn't bother buying it, or renting it. My rating is 1.5/5

not near as good as the first one, had one high point in it that was great, when the guy in the port a can got covered in shit funny as hell. if you liked the first one you'll probably be disappointed but it does explain what is going on better. but i didn't think it really needed an explaination.

Although I read mostly bad reviews for the original "Rest Stop", I really liked it. A lot.
And so I was really looking forward to this sequel.
But to be honest, I was really disappointed once the end credits started rolling.
What I loved about the first movie was that sense of mystery surrounding the rest stop, the driver & the crazy Winnebago-family. You never quite knew what to think of them. Of course, the movie occasionely hinted at the fact that the driver was actually a ghost. But they never really explained anything.
In "Rest Stop 2" they suddenly felt the urge to explain every single detail & turn all of the antagonists into ghosts. Gone are the mystery & suspense!
Also, a whole lot of stuff didn't make sense to me. It all felt kinda rushed & sloppy. And where was that fun & crazy Winnebago-family when you needed them?! It's like a "Texas Chainsaw"-movie without Leatherface & the family. I mean, they are the main attraction here!
I do hope that if a "Rest Stop 3" comes along, they forget about this one & just start over.
Doesnt come close to the orig, but few do. Its wotth watchn for sequal standards.

What a living breathing pretentious piece of crap this film was.
okay, where do I begin. Oh man. The horrible written script. WOW awesome way guys to redo the first one WOW your smart all of you. I wish I could be cool writers like you guys.
it sucked, thats all i want to say, first was a very good movie, had tension, blood, action. This one lacked everything, action, blood, everything. Unrated hmmmmm what was unrated about this flick. The eye gouging scene was the worst ever were oyu trying to be fake like Kill Bill because you failed. At least in kill bill it was suppose to be fake. This flick. The ending was rushed how in the fuck did they die. somebody please write to me telling me how they were killed. WHAT THE FUCK the chick was drilled in the leg she died from that. Okay I can see the fag kid dying since his eye was takin out. but FUCK it I don't wanta talk about this.
Also fuck joy ride 2. Another waste of time and money.
at least feast 2 was amazing.

it was one of the more orignal sequals i have seen i really liked it alot it is a very good ghost story and it added on the orignal with the back story
I agree with "Down", not as good as the first , but still a good sequel. The whole "indian legend" about the eyeballs was my major gripe with the movie.
