Wow, I was expecting this to be the worst horror movie of the year, it turned out to be not half bad and is certainly better than the bad reviews it has been getting. Sure it's not the best but there are worse out there than this and it kept my interest the whole way through and there was one good jump out of your seat moment plus a creepy atmosphere throughout and I give them credit for that. The thing that bothered me was that the acting wasn't the best in some parts and not enough scares, action or much suspense and again the ghosts weren't scary enough and were weak. Overall like the first one and third one not half bad but not great either and simply not as bad as almost everyone claims it is. Check it out if you enjoyed the other two.
Never in my life have I seen such abuse of the green screen!!! Holy shit! are these guys so lazy that they cant take the camera outside? Horrible acting and a bad script take a bit of the attention off of that though (rolls eyes). The first one was pretty good, where did they go wrong? and why is Dimension extreme making 14A movies now? Even the TITS werent that great in this movie, FUCK!
A half-way decent sequel script is completely botched by some awful and entirely unnecessary green screen work.

i kinda thought that it started out pretty good with how they showed it from the point of view of one of the ghosts. however the way they ended it ruined it for me. then on top of that it wasn't even scary the first one was at least that.
i have collected over 500 movies in my life and that has got to be one of the top 5 worse! i turned this movie off at 49 minutes and i NEVER turn a movie off. maybe 4 or 5 times in my life and this was one. pointless, not even CLOSE to creepy, confusing, just strait up worthless. its not worthy of the 1/2 inch it takes up on my two 6 1/2 foot tall dvd towers. f**k this movie.
I PAID $15 FOR IT. DONT EVEN RENT IT FOR $1. THIS MOVIE WENT FARTHER OUT MY WINDOW THAN HOSTEL 2.

I didn't see the first one, because as a rule I avoid PG-13 horror at all costs. I noticed this one was R-rated, so I decided to give it a whirl. Now most of the time I was just confused. I guess the first one ended with the dead taking over the world? This one was set it a kind of post-apocalyptic setting.
I enjoyed the nude scene, where she kind of melted on the floor. That's about it.
Definately not going to rush out to see the first one.
1st I put the DVD into the DVD player...next I wasted 90 minutes of my beautiful life. After that I went into my bathroom, yes... I took a hot long shit! And then i pulled out the Pulse 2 dvd, and I whiped my ass with it!!

Pulse 2 "Afterlife"

I just got through watching Pulse 2 "Afterlife". I must say that I was one who enjoyed the first one and thought this one (though it was a straight to DVD release) would be worth the watch. I was wrong. This movie goes into a little more detail about what happens to the people who are taken from the living realm into the dead realm by paranormal "ghosts" using electronics such as cell phones, computers, internet, etc to throw people into a deep dark depression until they kill themselves. The beginning is a little hard to follow considering that you don't realize if the woman and her daughter are alive or dead until about the middle of the movie. I must say that the ending for this movie left something to be desired to say the least. I would say that if you are a fan of Pulse you might find some interest in this movie but overall, I find that this movie did not need to be made. In fact I think they should have left this one alone altogether....It was fine as Kairo...
