Just saw this about an hour ago. It really defines the phrase, "waste of time". I wanted to stop it at the 10 minute mark. I am a person who loves slow-paced movies because it gives me the pleasure of enjoying every moment and analyzing every angle, but this was just plain boring.
The weird editing was similar to the last minute of Irreversible. If its intention was to creep out the audience, but I got nausea. And if the intention of the film was to make the audience nausea, then it still because I watch movies for various kinds of entertainment, POP SKULL is not entertainment.
This was actually a pretty good movie. Some of the effects were really cool. Overall I dont really think its a horror movie more of a psychological thriller. Not too bad.

This movie is really the first horror movie to ever really make me think about real life. The beginning of this movie is so powerful, We have all been heart broken, all have known someone depend to some sort of substance. Pop Skull isn’t for everyone, though. It’s not your typical horror movie and even though it is fairly violent and spooky,its a disorienting, hallucinogenic and dream-like horror film unlike anything I’ve seen. Lane Hughes Is completely amazing and extremely creepy. I really enjoyed what was done with this film and how it played out. Its not for everyone. its slow paced and very artsy with a hint of dark.
