My only real problem with this film is the setting. So you commit suicide just to go somewhere that's exactly the way life was before? I mean, I can accept that as a plausible punishment for offing yourself, but why even bother bringing it up for the movie if it's just like the real world? May as well have left out the whole suicide aspect in general, though it does make room for some great jokes and elaborate deaths.

Anywho, overall it's a well told tale and proves that Patrick Fugit has what it takes to be an established actor. The love story is a bit awkward but so is real love, plus the pessimistic undertones give the movie some edge.

Loved this film. Great, quirky comedy. If you're expecting even a little bit of horror comedy, beware. This has nothing to do with the horror genre. I still reccomend it though. It was AWESOME.

kinda of a random movie to be on here, but a good film none the less...strong cast, original story, and shannyn sossamon, despite her haircut, still looks smoking...

I loved this movie... and I hate anything slightly romantic so loving this movie feels funny lol
The plot was amazing a totally original script with fantastic directing and amazing acting.
Patrick Fugit was wonderful in the lead role his melon collie and self loathing was hilarious, he truely is a great actor!
But the major props have to go to the hilariously funny and always brilliant Will Arnett his part was small but his preformance was strong. Shannyn Sossamon was typical in this movie and my only complaint. Don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan of most of her work but caractor in Wristcuters I personally found to be a bit annoying. But as the film gose on she slowly becomes less and less annoying. I really do love this movie it has everything you need to be entertained.... it even has a portal to nowhere?
I highly recomend this movie to everyone :D

"So what are you gonna do, kill yourself?"

Very different, a truly unique film, which shows us a view of the afterlife few others have thought of.. What if after this, it isn't over? The cast is good, and they give this seemingly barren film some light, and the script is very well-written. I recommend this movie to anyone looking for something truly different, because trust me, this is it.
