For a synopsis of this movie please check out the official BD review by Charles Smith. This movie is a classic in the realm of Anime. Beautifully animated, graphic, horrifying and ultimately very satisfying. Jubei is a worthy, albeit reluctant, hero. Kagero is an intense and tragic heroine.
I really loved this movie. I am a huge fan of Anime and have a fairly decent collection. This movie easily rates at the top of the list. If you are a fan of Japanese animation, see this movie. If you're not, then you haven't seen the best this genre has to offer.
