Los Angeles-based Gallery 1988 pays tribute to the nineties with their brand new exhibit, 30 Years Later, which looks back at some of the best films of 1991.

The decade really did kick off with a bang and offered up several classics from Rocketeer to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, but also celebrated the horror genre with more than a handful of treasures from the Oscar-winning The Silence of the Lambs to James Cameron’s sci-fi action masterpiece Terminator 2: Judgment Day, as well as Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, The Addams Family, Child’s Play 3, and even Wes Craven’s The People Under the Stairs.

Gallery 1988 kicks off 2021 with a bang, displaying a plethora of absolutely incredible pieces of art that celebrates all of the aforementioned titles.

Highlights include Matthew Pleva’s “Teacher and Student” Silence of the Lambs art that’s literally constructed inside of a VHS cassette, Mark Farris’ “TI-800” T2: Judgment Day print (buy), and Lana Crooks’ incredible “Honey and Nightshade” Silence of the Lambs display box featuring the iconic moth from the film and its poster art.

Head on over to Gallery 1988 for the entire exhibit.
