'Dead Man's Shoes' is an amazing psychological thriller that I highly recommend to everyone. The movie is hard-hitting, fleshed out, and sometimes hard to watch.
In essence, it's a tale of revenge that spins out of control. A group of young, drug-addicted hooligans perform acts of torture on a retarded boy who 'befriends' them. This part of the story is told through flashbacks, and the viewer doesn't know what the big deal is until the end of the film (through the director's brilliant use of plot manipulation). The retarded boy's enraged brother comes back from the war and seeks revenge on each of those who participated in his brother's torture. The acting is brilliant and terrifying, the locations are some of the best I've seen in any film, and the moral of the story is very heavy and sobering.
My only quips were some continuation issues, since a couple extra characters are introduced who have very minimal relation to the plot. It just ended up confusing me (unless I'm missing some brilliant philosophical treatise which the director decided to stuff into the movie).
Thrillers don't get much better than this, and since the characters are so realistic, it may make you think more about the seemingly small decisions that you make in your daily life - and the possible consequences of those decisions.
I thought this was a great movie. The story was fleshed out pretty well and couldn't help but feel bad for what the brother went through. 8 out of 10 from me
This movie was fucking garbage. It was the most dull unentertaining piece of shit I have ever watched. Please don't waste your time with this one. This gets a 10 and NOES doesnt. Really?

The Movie was great was not what a expected but I just bought it and have already watched it 3 times the bottom line here is not to bully people around I would have to suggest people to watch it.
