This one is definitely on par with the best of the horror comedies (Evil Dead 2, Shaun of the Dead). Cool, bloody, nasty. Not as Evil Dead 2, but close. It has its own unique charm to it. Wonderful film.
Not the best movie i've ever seen, but by far not the worst. It was a fun couple of hours. Michael Rooker was badass as always. The comedy might not be for everyone but the special effects make up for it. Solid Movie.

Another great big budget type B-movie. Hilarious and fun. Gore filled and just so funny. Acting and FX were overall great and the one liners are just so good.
I loved this film. It was great to see a horror comedy come along as this was released at the height of the 'torture porn' craze. It reminded me of movies like Night Of The Creeps and other 80's body horror. Nathan Fillion is hilarious and the way he delivers his lines is so dead pan, the rest of the cast also do a solid job . The effects and gore were done well with minimal CGI ans it was refreshing to see a horror movie that used make up to its full advantage. If your in the mood for a gory ,funny light hearted horror romp then this is your film.
This movie was good, but not anything special. It really seemed like more of a social commentary than a horror movie, which is refreshing (I like how all the chicks in the redneck town are all really fat, with only three exceptions...)
The film just doesn't feel that solid, but the gore effects and deaths are top notch. Give it a try if you like the old Troma films or just want to have some light-hearted yet gory fun.

a blast of a throw back to the classic creature stuff from the 1980s, really cool movie, although not a fan of cgi stuff, they pull it off and make it fun while using it, a overall fun and entertaining movie, that so many other films lack
