Disturbia is a character study, and what people do when they find themselves in serious immediate danger. It's good, almost great. It is unique and that is a boast to make already.

The movie was really good. Shia LaBeouf is a good actor for his age and i think he was outstanding in Transformers. I recommend this film to everyone.

-Mom I'm gonna go to the movies with friends.
-What movie are you gonna see?
-Ummmm a scary one?
-It better be pg-13, how about Disturbia?
-Not that boring teen shit!
-I know, it sucks.
I love everything about this movie!! I love that it is a scary movie but most of it is funny. The idea of the house arrest and the crazy neighbor is good. I just love everyhting about it

Disturbia was actually a pretty good, suspenseful thriller. Some true moments of pure terror. While the first half plays out like a comedy and starts out a little slow, this film is actually scary. There are some creepy moments. I recommend Disturbia. It was actually a pretty good PG-13 flick.
This movie was fantastic until the end when it became the same old, same old. The whole film has you wondering several things:
Is LeBeouf's character going mad?
Is his neighbor really a killer?
Is he about to wack the girl?
It does a fantastic job of making you think one thing and giving you another, constantly building up to the point where the crap does hit the fan. However, when it does hit, you are left wanting.
LeBeouf is good, but the female lead is about exciting as watching a boot do calculus. David Mors is a fantastic creep and killer, smooth and evil. It is an utter thrill ride until the ending.
i thought for what it is it was pretty good but it falls apart durin the 3rd act

I dont know why so many people liked this movie so much, i felt it was a rip off of old hitchcock stuff, but im sure many films do that, but the movie was predictable, boring and i didnt really care much about the characters at all, the best thing about it, was the performance of the villian david morse played.
Well it was actually better than When A Stranger Calls which was kind of the same thing and i think this movie it is not scary but suspensful and really good so if a sequel is made am gonna be in the theaters watching it.
I don't know why people don't like this movie. I personally really enjoyed it. Not too many good movies come out like this in this decade. They mostly all suck.
Much better than the user rating would lead you to believe. It pisses me off how some people have this preconieved notion about PG-13 horror and how it "has" to suck. I call bullshit, especially in this case. This was a decent movie. The plot moved along nicely and the finale left me feeling satisfied overall.
this movie is not 2 bad, but i did not liked the killer, the ending was lame and cliché.
this movie could have been way much better if the killer was someone else and if he killed more
and they put a little more goor and suspence in the movie.
it was hard 2 stay awake with this movie, but the acting was good.
Unless you’ve never seen a movie in your life, you have seen this movie before. I cannot believe how completely, utterly unoriginal this movie is. It took every cliché and put them into a movie.
And the killer looked like a reject for Bozo the Clown.
