The sad truth of this movie is that it just cant stand on its own two feet. It rides on the fact that it has "the same director as Blair Witch" but that simply is'nt enough to save this bland and quite simply boring movie from falling flat on its face.
Firstly, the cliches just mount up as the film progresses and get gradually more and more irritating. Secondly the film didnt even feel like a horror film, there were no real horror elements to it other then the odd jump scare. Theres just no real chemistry either between the cast it felt like it was filmed one weekend when they had nothing else to do.
However, i did like the ending but im not sure if that was because i had just sat through an hour and a half of an appalling movie.
So my advice avoid this there are plenty of better ghost movies out there, all i could think of when i was watching this was simply "god, i wish i was watching session 9"
I liked this move. It was smart, good, scary, and fresh. It is one of the best ghost movie's I've seeb yet. Though not better then The Gruge. But this movie is really good. You should give it a chance.
