This movie wants to be Braindead (Dead Alive) but it fails badly. The people behind this don't have the filmmaking skill of Peter Jackson and this just comes off as amateurish, poorly shot and acted rubbish.
Though if you're the type who enjoys horribly crass humour like alien sex and bodily fluids flying everywhere you might enjoy it. Just stay the hell away from me you retard.

I thought that evil aliens was the best sci-fi movie I have seen in ages.
Storyline: a cable tv team investigate an alien abduction in a remote farming island off the welsh coast. The ufo story is eventually believed to be a fake so the program makers plan to re-enact it until the aliens actually do show up and start killing. 10/10
Acting: Truly hilarious actors, very funny characters and very funny reactions to different situations that happen in this movie. 10/10
Special Effects: It was pretty low budget but who cares?? It was one of the most goriest movies I've seen. That scene with the combine harvester was fucking funny and fucking gory at the same time. 10/10
Best Scene: Combine harvester owning the aliens. 10/10
Ending: Hell cool like the rest of the movie. 10/10
Overall this movie was really, really, really, really, really KICK ASS!!!!!!!!!!! If you love sci-fi horror movies with gore than your a dick head if you don't watch the masterpiece known as evil aliens. I give this awesome movie 10/10
This movie rocked! Sure, it's a little low budget and the graphics are horrible, but it is so polished! The aliens are a sight to behold and one scene in the middle of the movie where the aliens are slaughtering people is so intense and gratuitous and sheerly artful that I watched it two times over again. I recommend it just for that scene. I can also tell that there is some humor here that is reserved for Brits, and since I'm American I don;t really understand it. See this movie now!
hollywood movie its not, but it makes up for it in other ways. a mixture of comedy/horror and sc/fi pulls this movie together to make it a cult classic. I just hope Jake West makes more films like this.
I have recently been buying up dodgy straight to DVD horrors whereever I happen to find them and paying no more than a couple of quid for em. Most were absolute pants to be honest. A mate lent me his DVD of this & I was expecting a similar uninspired & feeble affair but boy was I pleasantly surprised. This film is fun & gory to such an extent that it makes you forgive the small flaws in production, acting, sfx, plot etc.
However if you are after scares it won't be for you, this is laugh a minute goreshock stuff that has it's tongue firmly planted in it's cheek throughout. For pure giggles it reminds me of old UK classic The Revenge of Billy the Kid.... Great stuff if you are in to laughs with your exploding alien & cattle evisceration.
For those of you who have not seen this amazing movie - you must. If you are into watching movies that aren't so obviously structured like big Hollywood movies and want a movie that doesn't play by a certain set of rules; you've found it. This movie is very funny, with humor ranging from a film crew trying to cover a story they don't believe at first with a straight face (with an added challenge that they are on drugs at the time) to an alien slipping on a banana peel. What's also funny is the gore which is so over the top that at first you're shocked at what you just saw - then you laugh your arse off right afterwards because you realize you did see it. This is the ultimate 'crowd pleaser' kind of a movie. You and your friends will love it. Make sure you get the unrated version.
