Echo Bridge Entertainment has announced a July 29 release date of Tobe Hooper's Mortuary on Blu-ray. The director of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist and Toolbox Murders is back with his latest horrifying creation... In the small town of Santa Loraina, California, the decrepit, long-abandoned Fowler Funeral Home has become a local legend. As the story tells it, Zeb Fowler bought the land to start up a ranching business, but something killed off all the cattle. To make ends meet, Zeb became the town mortician, and the Fowler house was turned into a funeral home - complete with a cemetery for a yard. But the strangest part of the story is the Fowler's son Bobby, whose face was so hideously disfigured it was hidden beneath a burial shroud. At age eight, Bobby mysteriously vanished, and ten years later his parents were found murdered - their faces smashed in. Locals believe that Bobby is still alive.
Arts Alliance America will be releasing the forthcoming National Lampoon Presents Beach Party At The Threshold Of Hell on DVD July 15, according to DVD Active. This 'R' rated post-apocalyptic satire comes from writer/director/actor Kevin Wheatley, and stars Jane Seymour. Extra features will include: a comic book slide show, deleted scenes, a photo gallery and a feature-length commentary by the director and cast. In the year 2097, twenty years after America's destruction in a nuclear apocalypse, a group of survivors, led by JFK descendent Tex Kennedy (Kevin Wheatley) emerge from their bunkers and set off to found a new nation. And so a darkly comical and bloody epic voyage begins, with Tex and his two sidekick androids, encountering all sorts of dangers, including a number of would-be killers working for a rival party, and the Devil himself.

Today Lionsgate Home Entertainment announced SIDE SHO for DVD release on July 29. Winner of the Best Feature Film and Best Soundtrack at the 2007 Terror Film Festival, Side Sho follows a suburban family on vacation in the backwoods of Florida as they venture off the beaten path in search of historic roadside attractions. They wind up finding much more than they bargained for, including a forgotten tourist attraction that houses a dark secret. Among an old rustic sideshow museum, they find an inbred family of murderous mutants who plan to abduct their daughters and use them for breeding. It's up to the father and son to capture and kill the mutants in order to save the entire family before it's too late.
Universal Home Video has announced Doomsday, which stars Rhona Mitra, Bob Hoskins, Adrian Lester, and Alexander Siddig. According to DVD Active, the Neil Marshall directed film will be available to own on July 29, and will retail at $29.98. The disc will include both unrated (1 Hour 53 Minutes) and theatrical (1 Hour 49 Minutes) versions of the film. Each will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. Extras will include a commentary with Director Neil Marshall and Cast Members Sean Pertwee, Darren Morfitt, Rick Warden and Les Simpson, and 3 featurettes (Anatomy of Catastrophe: Civilization on the Brink, The Visual Effects and Wizardry of Doomsday, Devices of Death: Guns, Gadgets and Vehicles of Destruction).
