If you didn't get it early with your pre-orders, you can now download the Left 4 Dead 2 demo on Xbox Live, and on Steam/PC. The demo is played in "The Parish" campaign, set in the New Orleans French Quarter. You can play 1 to 4 players over local or Internet connections on both the Xbox 360 and PC (with two-player split screen available on the Xbox 360). The game is out for the 360 and PC November 18th.
Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero exposes the back story and internal tyranny of the Umbrella Corporation and lets players discover the origins of the T-Virus in an epic storyline that tells the horrors leading up to the infamous mansion incident.
Resident Evil 0 begins in July of 1998 in the suburbs of Raccoon City, a small town located in the Midwest. Several reported incidences of people being eaten by a strange creature have surfaced. The Raccoon city police department viewed the terrible murders as a top priority and quickly dispatched a special task force, the S.T.A.R.S Bravo team, to investigate. As the team heads to the scene of the murders, the helicopter transporting them begins to have mechanical problems, eventually crashing deep into the forest surrounding Raccoon City. While the Bravo Team was successful in escaping from the crash, they lost all of their equipment and weapons. ...Read More
Fort Zombie is out now on the PC! And you can get it for only $9.99, or as I like to say, 10 dollars. Check out this game play trailer below, and if you likey, download the game HERE!
I replaced the defunct Dementium 2 trailer in the article 2 down from here with one from youtube until I can figure out why the eff mine wouldn't upload correctly. In other news, YES Dementium 2 news and many many screenshots are here!
Dementium 2 starts where Dementium The Ward leaves off. You awake in a strange prison from brain surgery and you have to find a means of escape. But much like Silent Hill, you keep shifting back and forth between what seems to be the normal world, and an alternate hell. Good news past the break for the hardcore fans about the features of the game. Check them out and a bunch of screens. ...Read More
If you hadn’t noticed already, it’s Halloween! There are things that make Halloween the kickass holiday that it is: there’s candy, crisp autumn weather, scary movies, haunted houses, and now it’s alright to walk around the house dressed as a baby, because all you have to say is it’s your Halloween costume! Or maybe that’s just me? Anyways, there is at least one more thing that makes this holiday great, and that’s all the great new announcements for fans of survival horror video games.
There have been a ton of new announcements recently including some news on the upcoming sequel to one of my favorite games of last year, Dead Space, and when we can expect to see it on retail shelves. There’s also been the possible leakage of not one but two possible DLC packs for the soon to be released Left 4 Dead 2. But that’s not all, after the jump I discuss the surprisingly unsuccessful debut of Dead Space: Extraction on the Wii, the real Mercy Hospital gets reviewed by Left 4 Dead fans, and the bizarre new Halloween-themed trailer for Army of Two: The 40th Day. ...Read More
Not much is still known about Dementium 2, the sequel to the 1st person shoot Dementium The Ward for the Nintendo Ds. Check out this trailer below. The game is out for the Nintendo Ds February 1st 2010, I'll post more details when I find them out.
Playstation is a little slow in catching up to Xbox 360 but they are starting to get the picture. Sometime in November Playstation 3 owners and Netflix members will be getting the same opportunity Xbox 360 owners get. Free streaming of instant queue movies via their Playstation 3.
The plus side to using Netflix on the Playstation 3 is you don't have to play for a PS3 account like you do an Xbox Live account. However, if I am correct, via Netflix you will recieve a free Blu-Ray disc that enables the use of instant streaming on your Playstation 3. Past the break to read directly from the press release... ...Read More
If you hadn’t noticed already, I’m a fan of video games. I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true. I’m also a fan of music, but really, who isn’t? Except maybe deaf people, but it’s not that they aren’t fans, rather they’re not able to fully enjoy the occasional trips down the Highway to Hell or the Stairway to Heaven. But I digress, so let us gravitate more closely to the real reason you’re reading this article. It’s because you respect my opinion, isn’t it? You just need to know what I consider to be the ten best survival horror soundtracks, because your day just wouldn’t be complete without this little gem of knowledge.
Well, dear reader, let me reward your patience, your immeasurable tolerance for bad grammar, and your willingness to ignore my plethora of flat jokes with what I consider to be the best music the horror genre has to offer. ...Read More
Maybe this video will change your mind. The free Level Up content pack was just released. And this video gives you a little showcase into just what you'll be getting, along with some co-op gameplay
Killing Floor is a Co-op Survival Horror FPS taking place in the devastated cities and countryside of England, after a series of cloning experiments for the military goes horribly wrong. You and your friends are members of the military and police, dropped into these locations with a simple mission: survive long enough to cleanse the area of the failed experiments. The only problem is, these “experiments” aren’t waiting to be taken out – they’re coming for YOU!
Past the break for details on the Level Up pack. ...Read More
Rumor confirmed, Fort Zombie will be looking at a release the day before Halloween. So after you go out and collect candy, or try to but fail because you are too old, you can come back home and play some Fort Zombie.

You take on the role of either Zeke or Julie, or you can play together for some sweet co-op action. You not only fight zombies, but vampires, werewolves, evil dolls and more. The game is loaded with 48 levels, and 6 bonus stages. Your goal in each level is to try and save as many of the neighbors as you can, while being mercilessly chased by monsters. You must save at least 1 to progress to the next level. Check out a couple more screens past the break. ...Read More
Zombie Tycoon Posted By BurnTheBlueSky October 24, 2009 @ 6:02pm
I know you're thinking, Fort Zombie, Zombie Driver, now Zombie Tycoon? What comes to mind? Roller Coaster Tycoon 1st pops in my head. Well, in Zombie Tycoon, you do just the opposite of most zombie games. You take hordes of zombies on rampages eating humans and turning them into zombies.
Zombie Tycoon will be the 1st PSP minis title to use the Vicious Engine. The Vicious Engine has been used to design games many games such as Dead Head Fred to Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. Vicious Engine 2 was launched in early 2009, with better features. No release date is known yet for the game and it will be PSP only. Past the break for screens.... ...Read More
I know I'm not the only one pumped for Fort Zombie. If you haven't already heard, basically you roam the desolate city of Piety Indiana in search of a building you can build up to protect yourself from upcoming zombie attacks. You recruit citizens of the town who aren't yet dead, build up your structure, collect supplies etc. The best part? You can get the game this fall through all the major online PC gaming sites for only $9.99.
“We are absolutely amazed at the reception that Fort Zombie has received so far," said Chris Stewart of Kerberos Productions, the development studio behind Fort Zombie. "What started out as a fun little side project for us, which was designed simply to give gamers and zombie fans a couple of great laughs along with a great gaming experience, has attracted serious attention from fans of the zombie cult phenomenon even before the game's actually release. We can’t wait until they get a chance to pick up a shotgun and hit the zombie-infested streets of Piety!"
I had the chance to download the game last night and give it a go, and let me tell you, it's pretty fun. Think of it sort of like Left 4 Dead meets Gears Of War 2's horde mode. You fight waves of relentless horrifying zombie creatures, in some creepy messed up levels.
You can play the game for free now on Steam through the 25th. And I recommend you do so. You can buy it normally for $19.99, but this weekend only you can get it for 25% off at the price of $14.99. It's a good deal for a sweet game, I definitely recommend you get your friends in on it. More... ...Read More

About 10:30pm. Dark out obviously. Few friends over, roommates home. I tell everyone I'm going to play The Grudge game. They all seem fairly interested and excited to see how it's going to be. Everyone gathers around the t.v., we turn the lights off to set the mood, and start. The game starts out in an old factory. No story line at all told, you just dive right in.
Welcome to the Headlines in Horror, won’t you stay awhile? Here you can relax and get caught up on all the newest happenings in the survival horror genre, all in one place. It’s understandable that not everyone has the time to keep up to date all the time; we understand you have to work, go to school, or maybe you just really want to get your Paladin to level 80. So if you happened to miss some big announcements (and this week brought plenty of them) than here’s your chance to get your weekly dose of all things horror.
This week has been especially good to horror fans because there’s been a little something for everyone. Intrigued? Get in the know after the jump. ...Read More

Pet Sematary Posted By BurnTheBlueSky October 15, 2009 @ 10:55pm
As much as it pains me to say this, the Apple pushers might be pretty excited about this. Inspired by the Pet Sematary movie(s), Pet Sematary the game will be coming this month to the iPhone and iPod Touch.
The game is a birds eye top down view with tap to kill gameplay. And don't worry, you aren't only fighting zombie animals, but zombie children as well. The games levels last about a minute each and are very fast paced. You'll be able to get the game for only 99cents. It pisses me off they don't just say it's a dollar. Past the break for some screens. ...Read More
