REPO ROAD TOUR: PART II - Phoenix, Arizona

And so once again, the insanity begins.... REPO ROAD TOUR 2 kicked off tonight in Phoenix, Arizona at the Chandler Cinemas.

In the last minutes of the FIRST Road Tour, Terrance and I saw how amazing the reaction was and how much the fans were eating REPO up, we quickly decided to add a SECOND Road Tour.

The only problem? We had only 11 days to put it together.

The first REPO ROAD TOUR was promoted for months on our official website - and we had many other web sites helping get the word out. However this time, we had only 11 days...

We quickly picked our stops. Phoenix, New Orleans, Boston, Philly, Houston - and quickly made a flyer to promote it. And hoped for the best.

Honestly, we had no idea if we would be able to recreate the success the first tour brought us...

However that question was quickly answered upon arriving at the Chandler Cinemas.

We walked through the doors, and ONCE AGAIN, a line - wrapped inside, and snaked around the cinema. HUNDREDS of people were waiting to get in. HUNDREDS of people were dressed in costumes...

We were greeted by the theaters manager, Andrea (who is my new favorite person), telling us that not only did we sell out the first show, but they also added a midnight show - and tickets were selling like crazy...

There are no fans like REPO FANS - and that was again proven by NIGHT ONE of the Road Show.

As we approached the line - the SOUNDS of song echo through the lobby. This music didn't come from the MOVIE, but from the fans standing in line.

“ZYDRATE COMES IN A LITTLE GLASS VIAL... a little glass vial?” to which Terrance responds, "A LITTLE GLASS VIAL…"

The crowd went insane... you would think Bono just entered the room...

As we were standing in the lobby conversing with the fans we were greeted with a nice surprise, Joe Bishara showed up... as in, unplanned.

I guess Joe woke up and said "FUCK IT, I'm going to Phoenix..."

What is crazy about these road shows... and this really won't make sense unless you have been to one, is this is really NOT JUST A MOVIE... It's a concert, an event, a circus... a madhouse...

Joe was immediately recognized and swarmed... if Terrance was Bono, then Joe was The Edge...

What was also exciting about this tour is that we have a new TEAM REPO member joining us - Chad Cole... he has been a friend for awhile, as he works at TWISTED PICTURES and has been around since the first SAW.

We needed someone to help with the chaos so we brought Chad along for the ride.

Consider Chad our Tour Manager...

It was awesome watching him become immersed in the REPO insanity. Prior to the ROAD TOUR we had explained to him how crazy it gets.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah..." he said…

Until we walked through the doors...

"HOLY BALLS," he reacted, "You weren't joking, this is real!"

Even my manager Chris was on hand to witness the circus.

After the show we stayed around until 3am signing autograph's and taking pictures.

All in all, another win for REPO.

6am we are to be at the airport! Off to New Orleans!

I am so thankful that you chose new orleans as a stop I had such a great time, Repo! was everything I hoped for... and more! I never look into movies I want to see so everything was new (visually) and at times I wanted to sing at the top of my lungs (but I didn\'t want to ruin it for the rest) I hope you guys continue the tour (like you hinted at on stage) so that I may dress up and sing along next time! (ps. I\'m the one that was in the crazy zipup alien/robot hoodie that terrance took a picture of =D)

I wish I could have gone to a stop on this tour! I was so sad I couldn\'t make it to Boston :( But with this successful leg, I\'m hoping for a part 3! And I\'ll be there. Chicago LOVES Repo-- the Music Box keeps having us back. Two more shows Dec 26 and 27th! Thank you so much for bringing the blog back. It is really fun to get to read about the tour stops from your perspective! :D

AWESOME FILM IN REPO GENETIC OPERA one of the most original and visually stunning pieces of artwork ive seen in a while, a masterpiece and i highly recommend this film!
