Alan Rowe Kelly's controversial short horror tale, A FAR CRY FROM HOME, is about a young urban gay couple (Kelly & Don Money) traveling through the NJ wilderness and stop at a rural antique hex store. What they don’t realize is that the backwoods storeowners (Katherine O'Sullivan, Jerry Murdock & Benzy) are a religious sect of homophobic, crazed killers who - under the local rule of the Preacher Man (Terry West) - have ‘extended’ plans for our vacationing couple by doing the ‘Lord’s work’. A horror film in every sense by using ‘hate’ as the ultimate killer. The rest of the cast includes Robb Leigh Davis and Susan Adriensen in a cameo appearance. Music and sound design by Tom Burns!
Meet the BULLIONS - your average, inbred, cannibal family living in the deep woods passed your own backyard! THE BLOOD SHED tells the tale of the notorious 'Bullion' clan and how they deal with the day-to-day annoyances of encroaching suburbia. Murder, mayhem and deviant behavior ensue under 'house rules' in this homage to the early films of Jon Waters & Tobe Hooper! Starring indie notables Terry M. West, Joshua Nelson, Alan Rowe Kelly, Mike Lane, Susan Adriensen, Jerry Murdock, Katherine O'Sullivan, Zoë Daelman Chlanda, Kane Manera, Sandra Schaller, Brian Juergens, Robert Norman & Michael Gingold.Music by Tom Burns.
