i am waiting to make my judgement till the release of the movie. I have always been a big halloween fan, and i am hopeing that this will be a great movie also. I know next to nothing about rob zombie, but i just hope that he does this right - heather
I think we all need to open our minds a little bit. Of cours there is only one Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasence. Actors and Actresses who truly made the picture what it is and what it became. But think about it. The Shape was never played by the same man twice until Don Shanks in part 5&6. Give these new players a chance. Rob is very genius when it comes to casting. We should all realize this from his other films. He did bring back Danielle (Jamie). If we view this as a new start to Halloween instead of going into this looking for a cookie cutter remake, we will all be very satisfied. Bring on the sequels. You gotta do it.

I am a die hard Halloween fan. I've watched them since I was six, and Rob Zombie is indeed a talented musician and his two films are excellent. After watching the trailer I'm on the fence about it. The mask looks horrible. It seems like he's giving Michael a backstory that would make for a great Lifetime movie. Also, Donald Pleasence was an incredible actor. Loomis was HIS role. There is no one else who can play that part with the passion and intensity that he did. This movie is not being made for the TRUE fans of the series. Give me a sequel...Forget the remake!

not sure i want to spend money going to see it. some effective looking sequences, but looks disappointing. hoping to see what john carpenter thinks before i make my mind up whether to go see it upon release.

Horrible trailer, it might has well have been any other slasher trailer, they didn't even treat it like it was a Halloween remake, they just threw it together and said that Rob "No Talent" Zombie's reinvention. This movie will most likely be a huge disappointment.
You guys just need to open ur fucking eyes. alot of the scence were extended. Like when hes chasing a naked girl down the hallway (the same girl hes behind in the ghost outfit.) Plus it show alot more skin. Come on guys. This preview is great.
Nothing is different and if soemthign is its not worth giving it a new type of "color" rating, MPAA is fuckin dumb Rob Zombie is awesomse and so will be the moive.

I totally agree with the people that said "It looks like the same trailer"... because you know what, it really does look like the first trailer. What is the true difference between the first and this trailer? I hope it doesn't suck and why is it coming out in August, isn't called Halloween for nothing. RIGHT
Shite. That just looked pretty much like the last trailer. The only decent bit is the dischordant theme tune. Other than that, it's generic cookie-cutter jump-cut crap.
