I don't need to see the trailer. All I got to say is when people are afraid to try new things, they usually recycle movies. They call them remakes and it makes me do is compare them to the original ones.
its friday the 13th today and i just got back from this movie. I can honestly say i havn't seen a horror movie this good in a loooonng time.Verry well done and more importantly, very grusome. 10/10

iam a big friday the 13th fan and iam stuck in iraq for all of 2009 so i will miss my chance to see this film in theaters and that is heart breaking cause it looked awsome
Awsome!!!Cant wait 2 see it!!trailer looks awsome better than the first trailer & so does the cast,I know im gunna watch it a bunch of times as soon as it comes out!!Glad they didnt just copy the original cuz its a classic but, its about time that jason gets scary again. He looks so badass and more believeable as a phsycotic killer in the woods he looks darker & more visious in this movie.All I can say is, This is gunna be good!!!!!
I absolutely hate remakes. This would have been better if they redid it to make the mom killer like she was in the original. There are no counselors or anything. This blows, keep your Friday the 13, TCM, Night of the Demons, My Bloody Valentine, Night of the Living Dead the HELL ALONE for crying out loud. Are there any original thoughts in hollywood today?
I have to admit, the original trailer looked promising and actually had me interested in the film. i'm not a huge fan of the franchise to begin with but this trailer just looks hideous. Whats with the random people appearing at the camp instead of having counselors like the original anyway? I'll still see it and won't make any premature judgment like the other assclowns here who throw their opinions around.
hey i don't know about you guys but i think it's gonna be good! i like all the F.13th movies in actuality i like all horror i have seen every thing from salo to saw i like the trendy horror to the obscure imports... so see you Feb. 13th
I was hoping this will be better than the "Halloween" or "Texas chainsaw" remakes, but I have my doubts now. Trailer is not making me over-excited to see it, wish they'd done something more original.
looks awful. thanks michael bay for taking an enormous shit one a great film. i should've expected this when it was the ass clown that screwed up the TCM remake. you guys are idiots if you think this is going to have any validity in the horror genre and if you think this then you need to go to some other site that supports people with terrible opinions that like movies like saw and darkness falls.
Looks terrible! Wow! I mean...wow. The Chainsaw "remake" sucked. This will suck. I was really hoping otherwise, but judging from the trailer it's gonna be a steamer. I'm sure there will be some entertaining death scenes mixed in the poopy, so I'll see it. Even if Jason does look dumb.
Gave away most of the kills but looks good for the most part. Hopefully its is better than the mediocre original (in my opinion). The new jason running and the look of him is great. This movie has potential just hope it uses it to the fullest extent.

Okasy so the trailer looks like every other horror movie. And the bed with the name Jason on the head board is lame!. I'll still see the movie, but I'll always love the original. Remakes are fucking annoying. Somebody should fire all the executives in Hollywood...and hire people with vision.
looks good .but i dont know why jared padalecki is again in a horror movie???? i mean he sucked in house of wax - the movie was so stupid anyway - and now again his face in a horror movie? to me he is annoying and they shoud ve choosen milo vantemiglia or whatever his name is
ehhh nope doesn't look good. It seems like they're cramming too much of the story into one movie. I'll go see it so I know what I'm talking about but the trailer didn't do it for me.
Looks fucking sweet! as long as this movie is as good as the trailer, its probably better than the originals. (i love the originals, but lets face it, for the most part, they're not good movies, lol)

I've been a die hard fan from day one. We've seen Jason played many ways. 2-4 he seemed slow and awkward. 5 was sad. 6 was good. For the Kane Hodder years, he was slow and robotic. J v F he went back too slow and sad.
At last, we're treated to a version of Jason that tops them all. Fast..smart...brutal, and most of all, he's NOT a fuckin zombie. He's a real guy, and man is he pissed!!! I can't wait.
