God this film looks shit and high up on the CORN-O-METER. Even the little kid saying "It wants to be born now". SAME OLD SAME OLD. No doubt Mr & Mrs bland and average will lap this crap up, and i imagine it will have a few 'jump scares' which aren't really about horror now are they but to get a reaction from the director to remind you that he's made a horror film. "oooooh it's well scary this is. Best film ever! it must be cos Michael Bey is involved"
And that 'bum shot' poster...don't get me started on the whole 'sex sells' issue PLEASE. sure i admit its a cracking arse but it has no relevance at all other than to sell MOAR tickets. PG-13. ROFL...crapola.
And Gary Oldman...what were you thinking of? MAINSTREAM HORROR SUCKS.
I too hope this will be a good one, doesn't look too promising with a PG-13 rating but you never know, they really push the limits these days. Plus I'm eager to see if anyone else from the Dexter cast is in it, two and counting so far and Gary Oldman is always enjoyable.
yea, I agree w/some here....the trailer is a scene combo of several movies. Looks ok, but I long for a truly original script and fresh evil....more of the same gets old.
So... "The Omen" meets "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" meets "(insert every Asian horror remake here)" meets... "I Know/Still Know What You Did Last Summer" (faceless dude in raincoat and knife)???
