Looks OK actually. Producer and the production company that brought us The Ring, which was a decent, if not good, Asian horror remake. Probably wont catch this in theaters, but I do like Emily Browning....
WOW! HATERS! A remake is a re-telling from soneone else's point of view. It's funny that because it may not be your view or how you think it should go (milk turning to blood) you immediately condemn it. Why, because everyone else is?!
Looks terrible. I am not a fan of asian horror. I never jumped on that bandwagon. I think that the orignal versions of some of these remakes people bash were just as bad.
Can't be all bad as it looks like the girls spend most of the time in their bikinis. Seriously though, I'll probably see it either as a rental or buy at bargain bin prices. I have the asia version anyway
Looks pretty good. Except for that little girl in the funeral, she doesn't look even close to creepy. I saw some blood in the trailer, an improvement from PROM NIGHT. And the cheesy bathtub scene was stolen from WHAT LIES BENEATH. The killer dad's-new-girlfriend is a good twist to the usual format/cliche these remakes fall in.
Doesn't look so bad...not sure how it could be called a "fail" just from that trailer. Actually what I like about it is how different it looks from the original. People bitch because it's different, people bitch because it's the same (like The Grudge). I found the original to be good, but a little boring, so I'll give this one a try.
I thought the original was alright, but I didn't love it like a lot of people did. I think the remake looks pretty good though. I don't think it will be as well-made as the original, but I do think I'll find it more enjoyable.
