Don't get me wrong, luv the gore and will def be seeing this but I heard this was an original trap but seeing the pendulum trsp just remnded me of Critters. Does anyone else remember that?
Dude I cant wait for this movie yo! awesom although i would have wanted an even grousome alternative for the dude like smashing his feet and his hands or having to endure acid pouring onto him or puranas eating his face up.But this will do for now, wait ti'll i get my hands on a movie producing gig!

Oooh I don't mind abit of slicing and dicing in horror movies and the pendulum's a great idea. They need more James Bond style deaths, snow plough, cocaine grinder, oilwell pipeline fan, decompression chamber. Or perhaps the rock grinder in Indiana Jones. I mean if you're are going to do gruesome you might as well go the whole hog. Sometimes I disturb even myself lol
"Plus, I'm not sure I like the new direction of pretty much everyone getting killed whether they do what they're supposed to or not, it takes away the original edge this series had." --system-static
yeah, i agree with that. :(
but i'm a diehard saw fan, so i'll probably end up loving it anyways. XD
I'm not really sure what to make of this clip. Yes it's bloody but I just think it's getting a little bit stale. I know, I know all franchise is repeated but I really felt like I'd seen it all before. Plus, I'm not sure I like the new direction of pretty much everyone getting killed whether they do what they're supposed to or not, it takes away the original edge this series had.
That was funny I didn't expect to see him even get close to escaping which leaves me a little nostalgic, in the first saw it seemed like you might of had a chance to make an escape....wounded or not lol.
So its gotta be someone other than jigsaw now (i know he's dead) because jigsaw would have honored the deal and the pendulum would have stopped. Well thats how i see it anyway. But the guy was obviously a member of the Aryan Nation so fuck him he deserves both punishments.
uffffff, pretttttty disgusting, what happened to his hands!! i mean , honestly, if they were smashed like that i think he wont look so 'relaxed' as he is. doenst seem so realistic :) but anyway, i want to see the whole movie NOW!!!!!
Awesome! More horrible ways to die in Saw V...I love it...but I have to agree with dangerman6479 that it looks like he's gonna die, even though he solved the trap. That's not cool. I thought that the Saw movies had a very specific ethos: Do a horrible crime, and learn a horrible lesson to save your life. The only reason we saw others die in the series, was because they didn't follow the rules, or they didn't want to learn the moral lesson in time. Ok, i'm not counting those killed by Jigsaw's girl apprentice...Anyway, looks like Saw V is gonna be fun and filled with lots of pain, torture, and agonizing deaths...Oh Yeah!...Bring It On!
MEH. The Saw franchise is definately getting out of hand. I mean this trap looks similar to the one in 3. But i will see it, but then the twisty at the end will make me pissed off.
As sick as i am with the story line and the whole killing off jig saw but damn do these crazy ass traps not keep me wanting to see the movie more and more
You have to love Amanda traps... I have to say im not surprised that she ( or at least something she created)is in Saw 5, and im happy we get something better than a trailer that doesnt really give anything away.
Very very nice...except I know(90% sure) he gets killed regardless and that's NOT the original legacy of Jigsaw. That's what is making me upset. Yeah ofcourse I'll still watch it over and over as well as go on to see #6, but this franchise has a strict point and these new writers aren't staying with the formula. Arrrrgh!!
This is pretty gnarly but I don't really get it. Did he not complete the hand crushing or was it set up so he would die regardless? It seemed like his hands were crushed far enough to the point where there would be no way to take his fingers off the switches.
