The first shot is great... but if you're going into principle photography this summer, may I sugget shooting the majority of your nights as day-for-night, if you don't have the equipment to properly illuminate? Especially if a great deal of your action will be taking place in the dark.
For what it's worth, I'll be interested to see how this comes out, once you've put it together.
