Stephen King is a pure horror genius… And it won’t take a genius to know that!
My favorite book he made… Well i’m in a tie between and [Read more]-
Mine has to be “The Talisman” he wrote with Peter Straub, if that was made into a movie, “Harry Potter” fans would see good storytelling then. “The Stand” also, tho the mini series was ok, book was awesome!
-
I don’t think I can decide a favorite, because I honestly have enjoyed everything he’s ever written, but I think I really enjoyed reading Salem’s Lot and Misery. I like Misery because I got a few laughs in. WolfFang, have you read Black House that he wrote with Peter Straub? I found it to be quite excellent!
-
Definitely Misery! Carrie is pretty good, as well as Nightmares and Dreamscapes. “I like Misery because I got a few laughs in.”!? You’ve gotta explain this one, Stinkfist!
-
I loved the entire Gunslinger saga, but if I had to pick one SK book to read over and over again it would be The Stand. I also really enjoyed Dragon’s Eye and From a Buick 8. I can’t wait for The Dark Tower movies.
-
My favourite Stephen King’s book? Hmm… guess IT.. xDDD
Pennywse is a fucking scary character.. The most scary I ever read…
I love that novel, the movie and Mr. Gray itself… -
The Dark Tower 4: Wizard & Glass
I love the whole series but to learn Rolands backstory was awesome. Good action. -
picking one is almost impossible…
maybe IT, Carrie, and the long walk… -
Dark Tower series with a definite emphasis on Wizard and glass, like my boy up there. After that i have to go with the GREATEST Post-Apocalyptic book ever written, The Stand. I consider the Dark Tower series a hybrid genre.
-
Carrie for sure
-
i really liked the mist and duma key
-
Carrie, The Skeleton Crew and The Shining. In fact, those are the only ones I’ve read! I’ve got around ten of his books but haven’t got round to reading them yet.
-
even to narrow it down to just a few is hard! But definately The Stand, Pet Cemetary, The Shining, and Salem’s Lot!
-
Hmmmmm….. IT and The Stand. IT has some of the best characters in any novel ever. I have read it about 5 times. I am always a little sad when I am done reading it.
-
Gerald’s Game!!!! How has this not been mentioned? That book left me a little scarred as a teen virgin… lol I will be tied up or cuffed.[Read more]
-
I can’t decide which is best so here are a few of my favorites: Cujo, The Stand, Pet Sematary, Christine, The Mist and IT.
-
Oh yeah and The Shining.
-
The Talisman hands-down! Where pretty much every book before it was in there is some lil piece or bigger!
-
I def agree with Wolfang, The Talisman is by far the most amazing book and my favorite. If they made the movie they’d have to do it right and if they did, it would Blow Everyone’s Mind!
-
Geralds game and pet sematary but i love most stephen king books.

Upcoming movies, sequels/remakes you would want to see.
-
I would love to see remake’s of Evil Dead, Rosemary’s baby, the sentinal and I spit on your grave. As far as upcoming movies, I’m definitely the most hyped about Nightmare on elm street and Cabin in the woods.
-
Upcoming movies… The Final Destination, Jennifer’s Body, Antichrist, and NOES. Rosemary’s Baby remake sounds cool, if they get the right people.

necro_evildead posted an update in the group zombie films of the 70s 80s 90s and now July 29, 2009 12:22 am
mine i would say would have to be lucio fulcis zombie …..i thought it was just awsome when the zombie attacked the shark lol
-
Fulic’s Zombie. I love the Zombie fighting the shark. No one does stuff like that anymore.
-
Lucio is the only way to go. I loved House by the cemetary
-
Burial Ground. Not your usual 0815 zombies. These ones work very efficiently as a team to reach their one goal: Extermination of all humans. This movie also includes a strange incest subplot.

I’m not one of those fans that has a problem with Tommy and Eric wearing Ace and Peter’s make-up.I honestly think the make-up has outlived its purpose, it was fun for awhile with the reunion and all, but they should have taken it off when they came back out after their “Farewell” tour. Plus I was more of an 80′s non make-up fan anyways.
I only got to see them without their make up, they were still awesome the music does not need the make up!!! although for the show and the stage presence the make up wins every time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would choose make-up.since that makes them iconic.
i saw them for the 6th time on oct.10th @ msg.they’re still awesome! ace & peter are the original & best but tommy & eric are great too.although they can play without the make-up it’s what makes kiss KISS !!
